On Sunday August 23 while on Chris Musso’s Lobster B/B+ Ride with approx. 12 miles left to ride, I tried crossing from the shoulder back onto the road when my rear tire caught the seam running parallel with the road. I ended up taking a nasty spill hitting my head on the road damaging my helmet. I also ended up with some large abrasions on my left knee and elbow, right hand two fingers and wrist. Along with a bruised upper left thigh, elbow and forearm. After about 15 minutes being cared for by everyone on the ride and making sure my helmet was safe enough to wear to complete the 12 miles. I decided with the support from the other members to complete the ride.

It’s Monday, I’m a little beat-up but feeling good and I’m looking forward to getting back on the saddle real soon, after I replace my helmet and have the bike checked.

With all that being said, I would really like to thank all the members on the ride, Chris Musso, Marianne Morahan, Tom Corrao, Lisa Romance and I believe it was Hank (?) and Steve (?) for their care, help and support. Thank You!
