here is my story. what i learned was to listen to my body. if you see something where it doesn't belong, just don't "blow it off" but get it checked out.
i saw blood in my urine. if this was a few years ago, i probably would have waited for the blood to clear and then write it off (in less than 18 hours, my urine appeared normal and i had no other symptoms). instead, i went to a doctor.
less than 2 weeks later, i was diagnosed with a tumor in my bladder........ bladder cancer. i will be having a procedure to remove the tumor. if the pathology comes back ok, i will only need routine examinations to be sure the tumor does not return.
again...listen to your body. if you see something where it doesn't belong, do not ignore it. i am glad i didn't!
