NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 24 mile ride.  The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.

Changes or cancelation will be posted by 7:15am.

Sunday looks like a pretty good day to ride a bike.  The temperature at the start should be 32* and winds look pretty good!

Second time this season at Glacier ... If we get more than a dusting on Saturday I may change venue to Calverton. Check back to this posting after 7 AM Sunday!

I'm definitely not doing all the diamonds but will adjust for who shows and I'll probably wait on the main while others do some BDs & DBDs. Will skip CR83 BDs until the end and do some of the Ridges (Gotta Do ... & No Trespassing), will explore a "new" trail while on the way to the Dark Side of the Moon and of course doing White Ghost). I may skip the final mogul run if I have the strength to do CR83 South.

Please let me know if you plan to be at the start (I'll wait if necessary) OTHERWISE we may leave the Ride Start when we're ready to roll!

If you contact me (631-988-6557) that you plan to join me then I'll contact you directly if there's any changes AND you'll only have to add your signature to the Ride Sign In sheet at the start.

We will go the usual route heading south using the connetquot park bike path. We'll work our way down to Heckscher Park. I would like to keep the road speeds 15-18 mph and come in at an average 15 and 15.9. Pulls are always Appreciated
