Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

sorry -- wash out today -- lets plan this for next time.

Take off time is 9AM promptly ;-)

    Special Notes for this one:
    a) currently it looks like it may be wet... if really wet, no go.
    b) I really like to extend the ride if conditions are acceptable -- out to Greenport with alternate return route from there.
See here -- if I skip the part Greenport to Orient Pt and back it is 2x10mi less than this 105miler:
    http://pyzahl.blogspot.com/2010/09/rp-2-ipbp-2-orient.html
Bring a few bucks, will stop at the Greenport Cafe for lunch!
... and if it happens to get a really nice day, may even check out Orient and do it all the way!!

    c) rider(s) may return on regular route from IPBP on there own with designated leader.

New: Alternative on-the-fly ride join point: Assuming on-time start, we will pass by at the Duck Pond in Wading River just next to the Velocipede at 9:15. I will make sure we not going to pass by before 9:15. If multiple riders will hook up I may stop briefly at the parking there for sign-in. Optional/TDB stop at Velocipede on return in Wading River/Duck Pond for smalltalk and Espresso, etc...

I classified it A again -- B+ riders are welcome as we will have some wait ups (on top of the 1st lil hill, the park and if needed at the "end" of Mill (lil hilly also)) but we will not wait on every turn -- as I also classified it as TEAM, what means exactly this -- stay all together and help each other for most efficiency and best pace w/o dropping any one -- regardless, unless on riders request or extreme mismatch.... -- you better be able sit in easy at 19..20mph and can handle a few faster sections and have fun!

Rocky Point 2 Iron Peer Beach Park for quick snack watching the sound. Watch for weather related updates or delays -- will post any change or cancellations by very latest 8am at the day of ride, if unsure, contact me. Let's Go Flying. Starts promptly 9am at Tildas Bake Shop, typical moving time 2h35...2h45 [for the A+ season..., more near 3 hours for now at B+/A pace], returning on average by/before noon. "Easy A+ pace", starts out with some rollers on North Country Rd to warm up, will go fast, but will do the best to reassemble group after 1st climb(s) and as needed, group stays together as a Team AND SHARES THE WIND if any and has fun like few flying birds! Read here for past ride logs, stories, photos and details: http://pyzahl.blogspot.com/search?q=RP2IPBP

However, this is a team style training ride, lean and execute team play, work together not to show off -- with exception of a few designated sections to play... with following regrouping.
