***Sorry folks for the inconvience but I am canceling this ride due to the forecast
of severe weather coming into our area this afternoon. Even if we were to get the
ride in without rain the high winds out of the east would make this a very uncomfortable
ride for most. I try to run this ride 3 or 4 times a year so watch for a reposting when
the temps are a little warmer and the weather abit more predictable.***

Attention riders I've made a change in the ride category on this
ride from a B+ to a B ride due in part that we no longer have B- ride
leader and I want to accomodate some people who would like to
ride. This ride will be a stong B ride with an avg 16.0 or slightly
above. There will be a short break in Orient. Bring snacks and some
money. This ride should not be your first ride of the season and B-
riders would find the pace of this ride a bit much. Inclimate weather
will cancel this ride. Rain I will cancel, If it's a dark cloudy,windy day
with a threat of rain this ride will cancel. This is a great ride when conditions
are good but the return from Orient can be miserable in bad conditions.

The purpose of the afternoon start is that there is a music
venue the evening of the ride at the Custer institute.Local
songwriter and guitarist Robert Bruey will be performing with
several members of the Miles to Dayton band. During this evening
stargazing through the institute's telescopes will be possible and
a chance to see a rare comet maybe possible. Riding/Eating/Music/
Stargazing !!! What could be better than that ! Hope to see you.
