3PointRide (Nassau/Paradise/Horton) through the Southold township. After the ride, we’ll be partnering with Pat Brennan’s crew and heading over to the Custer Institute in Southold to view the annual Perseid meteor shower. The institute has an observatory and at 9pm they are having a gathering specifically for this event. A $5.00 donation is recommended. Bring a lawn chair. After the ride there will be time to clean up, eat and be ready for the 9pm celestial event. If you are planning to attend the Custer Institute event, RSVP me so that we can let the people at the institute know what to expect. No go rain!
