*****Its 8:30, I’m going to push it one more half hour to 10:30. This will give the roads a chance to dry a little. If the ride is not cancelled by 9:15 (check back) it will be a go. Thanks for your patience!*****

Delayed until 10AM. Please check back at 8:30 to make sure there are no other changes.

We will go to Middle Island today using Ashton. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.7 & 15.0 mph. I will do my best to hold a B- on the high end; not too hard to do in this cooler weather.

The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph. in order to get the average.  Around mile 10 we’re going to stop at the senior citizen discount bagel shop or the deli. There are a few places along the route where a pace line or leg stretches can be done for those who wish. There is no obligation to join in a pace line, you won’t get left behind.

Winter has finally arrived so please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations. If it is too cold or windy the ride will be canceled, delayed or moved. Any changes will be posted no later than 8:00AM if necessary. My cell phone number is 631-484-3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride.
