Details (RL read field instructions carefully):
Marty's monthly Saturday ride. Meet at Pine Cinema in Coram for my usual route to Manorville and back. Regrouping as needed nobody gets dropped Hopefully. The full ride is 49 miles there are shortcuts to do either 37 or 44 miles. December is here and I will be riding at a slightly easier pace. Group may split into 2 or more groups.
****NO GO IN RAIIN!!!!****
OK I checked the weather for tomorrow. Forecast call's for a cold day sunny day. Should be around 30-32 for the start of the ride and then warm up some. Ride start was changed to 9 AM. Distance can be adjusted depending on the group. We can stop or just have a quick pit stop and keep going so we don't cool off and get colder. I hope to see some riders at the ride start in the morning! BE BRAVE and come and ride with me!
Marty
Today the ride went off as planned at 9 AM 7 riders started and 6 completed the ride. Today was the coldest day of the year to date to ride. We did a total of 37+ miles on the road with a very short break in Manorville. The wind was a factor and we all worked together to minimize the struggle. The ride ended after the break splitting into two groups as advertised. My next ride is scheduled for January 16th if that will be anything like today I will move it into the woods with some help from my friends. Thank you all for coming today I hope everybody enjoyed the ride as much as I did. I think it was colder in the parking lot when we got back then when we were riding. i hope to see a big turn out next month as well.
Thanks Again for joining me today,
Marty
