This will be an easy & flat C ride around Center Moriches, on a modified route to keep out of any winds that may crop up. We will average 11.6 - 12.0, and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.

This will be a C+ ride , which will average 11.8 - 12.3, partly depending on the winds, the riders, etc. Since t he exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Thank you for coming out... We will follow the same route as Howard except, it will be shorter, and slower. I would like to come in between 13.8 and 14 mph +/- a tad. Trying to build up distance and speed so all of us can get back to riding a Low (14.5) B minus. In order to get this average we will be doing road speeds between 14.5 and 16 mph. Expect down hills and wind at your back to be faster. We will take a break at the bagel shop about mile 14. Things could change slightly due to road conditions and wind direction. Bellport Loop , with the hope of getting a ride in.
We'll start at 9AM , with a C+ pace, averaging 11.9 - 12.5; route to be determined iat the start of the ride.

We will depart from Captree Boat Basin and make a stop at Tobay Beach, where bathrooms are available. Our "half-way" point of the ride will be at Jones Beach State Park, where we will take our break ans, again, bathrooms and snacks/beverages are available. The round-trip ride is just over 28 miles. Due to the fact that this is a "mulituse" path, with pedestrians, runners, and skaters (to mention a few) using it, I have posted this as a C ride, and our average should be 11.5 - 11.9. As usual, the pace may also depend on the winds, who is in the group, etc.
Park next to the greenway entrance in the west lot. If you are under 62 the parking fee is $8 - but free if you arrive before 8AM (which is why I am starting the ride at 8:30) ; those over 62 are free (yea!).

This will be an easy & flat C ride around Center Moriches, on a modified route to keep out of any winds that may crop up. We will average 11.6 - 12.0, and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited must
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.
