This week we will be doing the Long Alien Southbound route; it should keep you warm!
The route includes: Grumman Boulevard, Mill Road, Route 24, Area 51 and that Hill, Hart's Road and the hilltop finish on Dayton Avenue. There's no formal stop on this ride - just some regroups, so we can stay warmed-up. And there's only three traffic lights that affect the ride, so get ready for some endurance work!
Lee called in again so I'm going to replace him. I'm taking over for a great leader. Cruising to Manorville Dunkin' Donuts as usual. B+ pace. Waitups as needed. Thanks, Mel.
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon. This will be a quick ride without a food stop. Please bring your snacks. This is a B- ride that will average around 14.5 - 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.
If you have any questions call or text Mike at 516 448-8545.
We're going to start at 9:30 am to steal a few extra degrees. Paceline ride out to Netties where will take our break either in their wood stove heated cabin or on their covered porch.
This will be a winter paced B ride. Nobody gets dropped and the speed will be adjusted if necessary.
