NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Getting ready for Nationals in Hartford? They're right around the corner. Meet in the lower lot of Cathedral Pines for a quick lap with Chris and Roger before work. Kyclocross bikes only please. So break out your Bay Limus' and your embrocation..............., Kross is here.
If your lucky we might even do the Kross workout Gregory designed for Catherdral...it's killer but effective. You'll be running all of the 3 sisters.

Join me for this ride from Calverton, where we will ride on the back roads around Manorville, then go up toward Wildwood. We will take our break at the deli outside the park, where tables and a bathroom are available. This is a C+ ride, which will average 12.1 - 12.9, depending on the winds, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there willnot be a cue sheet for this ride.

Delayed to let the roads dry. Off to Bean and Bagel for brunch. Outdoor tables and indoor bathrooms. Some mileage on tne Grumman Trail (paved), and mostly local streets in Calverton and Manorville. To join, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your full name and date of ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 08:00am.
We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 24 mile ride. The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
Changes or cancelation will be posted by 1:00pm day of ride.

Scenic hill ride through Head of the Harbor, Nissequogue, Stony Brook and out to the Old Field lighthouse.
Taco Tuesday at Del Fuego in St James after the ride. Taco Trio special for $12 all day long and 1/2 price margaritas and apps during Happy Hour (3pm-6:30pm).
Ride starts at Ronkonkoma RR and goes to Sayville. This is a C+ ride, cruising at 14 to 15 mph to get an average of 12 to 13 mph. Any changes will be posted at least 90 minutes before the ride. This should be a quicky ride just to burn some calorie but with a nice water view.
