NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Off to Briermere's, with a short viewing stop of the American Bison, if they are in a field near the road we will be riding on. If there are enough riders to share a pie, and you are interested in having a slice, bring $. Restrooms are available, as are picnic tables. Individual treats and drinks are sold. If you want to join this ride, just send me your full name and ride destination. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:00am.

We'll leave Southaven Park for a ride out to Manorville. The route will be a little different this time, while Dr. Puff is on the mend. This will be a paceline ride!
The group will stay together except for an open run along Grumman Boulevard, where you can ride as fast as you like!
There will be a short stop at the Manorville McDonald's or bagel shop.
For this Flat ride the Average speed is 11.5-12.5mph depending on riders, wind, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition with a distance of 18-22 miles. Nobody gets left behind and newbies always welcome and well taken care of. Any cancellation will be before 8:00am. No need to text me.
Park in south side lot across from RR station.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.
We will be leaving The Wharf and head to Blue Piont/Corey Beach for a 23 mile ride. The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
Changes or cancelation will be posted by 1:00pm day of ride.

We will now be on the SOUTH SIDE of the Ronk train station near the Western end of the parking lot closest to Railroad Ave. Plan to be back by dark but wear light or reflective clothing and have lights for your bike. Bring a snack and hydration. Route depends on riders ability, wind, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. As always newbies always well taken care of and no one gets dropped. Wheels down at posted time as "Daylights A Burnin" so get there 15 minutes before. Any cancellation will be by 4:30pm. No need to text me, just "show n go".
Coming from LIE take Ronkonkoma Ave. South, just over RR bridge make 3 right turns, parking is on right, corner of Railroad AVe and Ronkonkoma Ave.
Coming from Lakeland Ave. Sunrise Hwy., go North just pass Vets Hwy make right on Smithtown Ave (following alongside of airport), just before bridge make right on Railroad Ave, parking is on left side (go past one way entrance and make 1st available left into lot).
