Going to Manorville today. Next week we can out to Eastport. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 20. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. The ride could end up a mile or two longer depending on the route. Pulling is always appreciated for those who want, but not required.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.9 to 15.0 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability, tailwinds, downhills, break-a-ways and other conditions. All of these conditions could change the final average one way or the other. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (15 -17 mph.) to produce the average.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0715 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
We'll head out to Briermere, going on the north route through the fields. Everyone gets to share some fun on the front of the paceline. But no Fred moves, jacking-up the pace when you get to the front!
After a fuel stop we'll head back through the fields with probably a headwind. So, let's work together, so no one gets left out in that wind!
