    Lawyer pleads guilty

    http://www.newsday.com/long-island/suffolk/lawyer-pleads-guilty-in-crash-that-injured-man-1.4273089

This guy was four times over the legal limit, runs over a cyclist, kills him and leaves the scene.

His lawyer is upset because "He's very remorseful and very contrite," Heller said. "The punishment is never going to be proportionate, because not only will he be incarcerated, but he will also lose his livelihood." (he is a lawyer)

He is getting 3 1/2 to 10 year sentence for killing someone and they are worried about his livelihood not the person he hit and killed or his family.

To make matters worse Thomas Spota believes the sentence is proportional to the crime. How does 3 /1/2 years to 10 proportional to takings ones life?
