NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

It's off to Westhampton Beach on a controlled paceline ride leaving from The Maples.
Heading East, the route takes us around Eastport and through Remsenberg along the waterfront. We'll then have a short food stop at Westhampton Beach at around 18 miles.
The return takes us up the Casa Basso and then along Old Country Road, leading us back to Manorville.
RIDE NEEDED TO BE CANCELLED DUE TO FAMILY OBLIGATIONS
PLEASE NOTE LOCATION AND TIME CHANGE: We'll be starting from Hecksher Park - Parking Field #1.
In an effort to avoid major roads (i.e., Union Blvd.) and intersections (i.e., Montauk Highway), during rush hour, I'll be taking mostly neighborhood roads; making this a "meandering" ride with the option of added mileage, if desired. Bring snacks/drinks and lights (just in case we need them).

Any changes/cancellations will be made here prior to 3:00pm the day of the ride.
Park in the rear of the lot accross from Little Vincents. We'll take quick and scenic visit to two beaches. We'll do a brisk B- on the falts and slow or wait as needed on the hills, so don't worry, we'll be patient. There are no food stops so bring snacks. Join us for pizza after the ride (cash only).
