NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Generally speaking most of us who have been riding together do not wear masks during the ride, if you are only comfortable riding with those that wear masks, then you might want to chose a different ride. That said, please respect those that are on the ride and distance appropiately at the times we are not moving.
Lets get some views of the Atlantic Ocean. There will be several bathroom stops, as well as snack breaks. Bring your own snacks for a mid-ride break, and at around mile 29 we will stop at a pocket park in Westhampton Beach which just happens to be near the Beach Bakery. To join this ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, your full name, and date of ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for any changes, which would be posted by 08:00am.
Join me for this ride from Yaphank to Nettie's, where there are bathrooms available, as well as tasty delights! the route will be determined the moring of the ride, so no cue sheets. I listed the distance at 25, but we may increase it to 28, or so, depending on the weather and any changes I make to the route we took last week.
This C+/B- ride will average 13.5 - 14.0, depending on the winds, the riders, etc.

Sorry but I am just not up for it.
