Come out to the East end and explore the coves, inlets and bays surrounding Shelter Island and Sag Harbor. There are great waterside views and scenic vistas on this fairly hilly and lightly traveled route. Keep in mind there will be frequent short ups and downs all day. We will take the North ferry and ride the West perimeter of the Island to the South ferry. On the South fork we will eat lunch in Sag Harbor, then ride through the Northwest woods and Three Mile harbor. South ferry back to Shelter Island and ride the East perimeter including the causeways leading to the Ram Islands. Total round trip fare for both ferries including your bike is $ 11.00 per person.
