If you are new to biking and feel like getting off the couch, getting out of the house, or playing hooky from work, then this ride is for you. We will be doing a nice flat scenic ride thru Sayville and Bayport. This is a “D” paced ride between 8 and 10mph. with the road speed being a tad higher. You can bring a road bike or a mountain bike. No recumbent as the route is not suitable for them. Prior to the start we will go over some rules and safety. You are responsible to bring a bike in working condition, a helmet, proper foot gear and water. Also, bring a spare inner tube or cab fare if you get a flat. No one will be dropped.
