START LOCATION CHANGED TO: The Dayton Avenue School!

Well it looks like it's going to get warm!  So, we're going to drop the pace a little, and go for some moderate miles to finish without any issues!

Let's set the ride mood: https://youtu.be/bn-AE0bvTOE

This will be a controlled paceline ride;  that means no jacking-up the pace and riding smoothly and in a straight line! If you are on a deadline, then this may not be the ride for you.  If you want a harder workout, bring your mountain bike, or your fat tire bike!

We'lll paceline along the cooling waterfront, through Eastport and Remsenberg to Westhampton Beach for a stop at the Beach Bakery at around 15 miles.  Then we'll take the flatter Beach Lane bridge for a 2 mile run on Dune Road eastbound.  We hop over the Post Lane bridge to ride into Quogue (remember the Turtle Ride), and then begin the return. After the Casa Basso and Eastport, we head back into Manorville on Head of the Neck/Clancy to Chapman and South St. to the finish!

Since it will be getting hotter late in the ride, we may take a water stop or two to avoid anyone getting dehydrated!  If you see anyone getting dropped, let us know so we can slow down and keep them in the group!    We don't want anyone riding lost and alone out in the heat!

    Allons-y!
