Information about local Cycling Teams and Racing

USA CyclingUSA Cycling. Citing: "The USA Cycling Development Foundation (USACDF) is the non-profit fundraising arm of USA Cycling for U.S. National and Olympic team young athlete development. The USACDF was incorporated in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) to raise money for year round support of athlete training and development, competition and travel needs. The Foundation receives no federal funding or subsidies and operates solely through private donations from individuals, corporations and other foundations. The money raised by the Foundation supports athletes in all disciplines of competitive cycling."

SBRA is a "social" cycling club (no cycling team). Any rider who likes to be more competetive and eventually experience racing at some point, we provide here some basic informations.

To race you must own a USA-Cycling Licensce (go here) or buy a one-day license for a first trial and it is also suggested to be member of a Cycling Team (else you may not be able to enter races or pay extra "non-attached" fees), SBRA is not a Team.
