A Minor change in Start Time to 6:45 ... I have to be in Riverhead until approx 5:30 so will be working to get to GR on time ... and PLEASE check back to this site before leaving for the ride. Not dark until 7:30 pm so, if the clouds don't intefer we'll still be fine!

First Full Moon Ride this Fall so you know the pace will not be that fast ... the B/B+ classification is not an indicator of speed but of the effort involved. I plan to do the Blue Intermediate trail and iat least one Black Diamond (CR83 North). The sun will be setting at 6:30 but the glow might last  a bit longer ... Moon rise is about the same time.

Print out two copies of this CLIMB map: http://climbonline.org/2014j/pdf/glacier_ridge_west-east_8x11_05-01-08.pdf ... one to bring along and one to leave home so folks know where you are. This time there is really no necessity for the map as NO ONE GET DROPPED IN THE WOODS but just print them out to develop the habit ... you might end up alone in the woods some other time.

I will be looking to do other Full Moon rides at other venues where the sky cover is not as full ... let me know if you have a suggestion.

Even if your lights have been recently charged it's best to top them off the morning of the ride.
