Today's’ route to Great River will change up a bit towards the end of the ride - if the wind is in our favor; making this route pretty flat except for 2 overpasses. We will go the usual route heading south using the Connetquot Park bike bath. We’ll work our way down to Heckscher Park . Bump up your hill riding with a chalenging but not killer very scenic north shore tour. Bring snacks because there will not be a food stop. There are multiple restroom/water stops as we will visit beaches and vistas. No problem if you're slow on the hill because we will patiently wait up as needed. We'll cruise around 15 on the flats (depending on the ability of the riders) and do what is necessary on the hills. After the ride we'll be rewarded with arguably one of LI's best slices (Cash only). Parking is is the rear of the lot across from Little Vincent's.

This 18-24 mile ride will now be on the SOUTH SIDE of the Ronk train station near the Western end of the parking lot closest to Railroad Ave. Bring a snack and hydration. Join me for this C+ ride that will average 11.8 - 12.5. W e will be riding from the Timber Point Golf Course in East Islip to Islip, and doing a few loops with some nice sights and water views. We will take a break at one of the beaches along the way, where there is a bathroom and concession stand.
