NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Social B+ pace out to Iron Beach Pier with a stop at MRB after mile 36. We'll keep it mild with the exception of the tanks (wait-up after) and maybe Manor Lane.
Stony Brook Rd. is closed Tuesday for paving. Area roads will be overflowing with university traffic.
We leave Marshall's parking lot for Strongs Neck. Along the way we have flat, some rolling and some small hills. The ride will reward you with scenic views and a stop halfway at Dunkin' Donuts. There are a few places where those with the need for speed can go ahead. Weather has been changeable, so be sure to check back the evening before and the morning of the ride.

Off to Quogue, with some mileage on Dune Road. Break at Hampton coffee or Westhampton Bakery, whichever has fewer bees. For info: contact Bill G. at 631-356-3036. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for any changes, which would be posted by 07:45am. If anyone is interested in pizza or a salad after the ride, there is a restaurant in the shopping center where we are parked.

Casual ride around Belmont Lake State Park and then taking trail down to Babylon town docks. Short hydration break at dock before return trip. Great beginner ride. Trail can accommodate mountain, fat tire and cross bikes.

We'll either ride out to Corey Beach or out to Sayville with a few park loops at the end.
We'll meet up with Mike's group for Taco Tues at Jackson Hall which is right next to the ride start location (BoA-East Islip). $2 tacos and $5 margaritas all night long and other Happy Hour specials until 7pm.
No need to be 20 mins early - just be ready to ride by 4pm.
We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 22 mile ride. The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
Changes or cancelation will be posted by 2:00pm day of ride.
