This particular ride will be 35 miles at a moderate B pace. Check back for any changes.
Update to this post as of 10/5: I’ve decreased the mileage by a few miles in order to take quick restroom stops along the way. We’ll be traveling through scenic backroads and by roads (some frequently) travelled.
Please reference the details and sign up instructions about this event, such as registration and what to bring to make this a successful charity bike ride.
Since I haven't been to Nettie's yet, and I've heard lots of good things about this bakery, what better time to check it out!!! The ride should be approximately 31 miles. We'll maintain a nice B- pace and will all stick together.
Please don't forget to bring something to share after the ride for the tailgate party, it’s going to be a fun day!

Ruff Stuff Style
This is a multi surface ride. We will be riding trails and road. Gravel bikes, cross bikes, road bikes with wide tires, mountain bikes (definitely overkill) are all welcome. There will be some hike-a-bike sections, a river crossing (you shouldn't get wet), there will be sandy sections, everyone will walk at some point, its an adventure. Flats or mountain bike shoes are definitely recommended. There will be stops along the way, no Mc Donalds stop on this ride, bring plenty of water and nutrition, the pace will be social. The B/B+ indicator is for social mountain bike pace. Any questions, feel free to reach out.
I recommend using your preferred tick repellent for this ride, just to be safe.
Mileage may vary, still working out the route...
I will not be staying for the festivities, but will be riding over to the Climb Fat Tire Festival at Cathedral Pines after this ride, it's free this year, come check it out!

There will be some bagels at the start, as well as some other donated food items for apres ride. Bring something for the tailgate party as well as a donation for the food pantry. There will be Raffles at the end of the ride donated by our Bike shops and some other companies.
This C+/B- ride will go to Smith Point, around Mastic and Shirley. The ride will average 13.1 - 13.8, depending on the wind, riders, etc., and there will be bathroom stops and a short break. Since I am combining one of my routes with a few new roads, there will not be cue sheets, but no one will be dropped.
cancelled due to Bruce's injuries. Henry posted a B- ride so please join him instead.
Join the SBRA cares party. Donate to a good cause and have a good ride and a fun Tailgate party afterward. The Route will include the beach, bring a snack. We should get some river views too. Bring something for the tailgate party as well as a donation for the food pantry.

No changes to the ride. Just wanted to remind you to come by 8:30 so you can check in with Ronnie Levy, use the bathroom, etc.
The ride will be 25 miles and our stop will be at Nettie's Bakery in Center Moriches. The ride is mostly flat so if you are a regular C rider, don't be afraid to join us!
For the month of October, we are also accepting donations that will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Estee Lauder is matching any money we collect in the month, 2 dollars for each dollar we collect.
We'd like to all get back around the same time-ish so we can tailgate and socialize after. And there will be raffles! Bring some non perishable (not glass) food items and something to share for after the ride.
This start location is not friendly to D riders. I rode my intended ride and discovered that it is too hilly. We will instead link up to my Mastic Water Views ride, with a stop at 10 miles at Dunkin’ Donuts.
IMPORTANT INFO: In order to link up to Mastic, we will spend a mile on William Floyd Parkway. HOPEFULLY, IT WILL BE LIGHTLY TRAVELED SUNDAY MORNING, BUT BE PREPARED FOR ONE MILE OF BIKING WITH CAR TRAFFIC. I avoided hills except for a short one leading to William Floyd Parkway.
Questions before ride, my email is (frchtchr@hotmail.com). Morning of ride, my cell is 631-835-1454. Cancellation for weather by 7:30 morning of ride.
We will make a loop to the south shore and then head north to McDonalds for our rest stop. From there we will make our way back to the park. Go on Marie’s ride
