NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Let's give the Bartlets a try again. They offer a bit of a challenge for poor hill climbers like me, but if we push on through this ride a few times we should get stronger, although, it hasn't worked for me yet. Come on out and suffer with me. The pace will be a B- until we hit the hills then it will be at whatever pace you can do and there will be a wait-up for me at the end of the Bartlets. We will take a short break at the golf course. Coffee and rolls are available or bring your own snack. Cancelations or changes will be posted by 8:00 am.
Not sure of the exact route yet but should be around 25 miles. We'll go from Moriches (park in the lot south of Wendy's near RR tracks) to Manorville for our break. Check back for any changes which would be posted by 7 am.
Join me for this C+ ride from the Timber Point Golf Course up around Connetquot and Bohemia, then down to Sayville, where we will take a brief break. We will return to the golf course via the bike path along Sunrise highway.
The ride average will be 12.6 - 13.1, depending on who shows up and, of course, the weather.
PARKING NOTE: As you come up the driveway, park in the first parking lot on the right.
We will be leaving Bank of American in East Islip heading to Great River and East Islip area. Please bring your snacks and drinks for this ride. Any questions call Mike at 516 448-8545
This is a B- ride with an average speed of 14.5 to 15mph, road speeds may reach 17-18mph. Check the ride calender for any changes posted by 2:00pm day of ride.
Parking note: Parking may be tight at the Stony Brook RR lot now. If there isn't a spot, you can park in back of Sterling National Bank, just past the Quaker Path traffic light, and meet us in the RR parking lot.
Sunset is at 6:30pm, so bring lights if you have them and wear brighter clothing.
