NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We did this ride for Bruce P. two weeks ago and it was such a success that we are doing it again!
So, this will be a C+ ride from Sayville, that will include parts of Sayville, Bayport, Blue Point and Patchogue. We will have a bathroom stop at Corey Beach and then take our break at a deli in Patchogue (early breakfast special available) and then loop back around Sayville to the ride start.
This is a structured ride which will average 12.5 - 12.9.
NOTE: Park on the South Side of the train station.

Today's Mi Tierrita ride will be going to Smith’s Point. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there. The route on the way back may change depending on the wind.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.5 to 15.0 mph+/-, depending on the roads and wind direction. The road speed will be between 15 and 17.0 mph. We'll stop along the way for a bathroom break around mile 10. Don’t forget to bring a snack for the stop along the way.

If you like a great flounder sandwich, this ride is for you.Not to mention the great calamari.The ride is secondary to the lunch, but in case you’re interested in ride details:we meet at Oaklands Restaurant and Marina for a 10:45am ride start, ride to Cupsogue Beach and back.So, it’s a 28 mile ride on Dune Road—out and back.Lunch at Oakland’s to follow.Mel Evans mentioned purchasing a round of margaritas and Lou Dusini said something about dessert is on him.Accordingly, I’m trying to get as many riders as possible.Although, you have to take those two with a grain of salt, so bring money.It’s a great spot, the food is good, summer is ending; I hope to see you.

This is a B- ride with an average speed of 14.5 to 15mph, road speeds may reach 17-18mph. Check the ride calender for any changes posted by 2:00pm day of ride.
We will head out to one of our local Wednesday destinations. The day light hours are getting shorter so as result we will be doing shorter routes. I will suggest that everyone have at least a tail light and a head light if possible. Please pack hydration and snacks for quick stops along the route.
This is a B/B+ ride with an average pace between 16 to 17 mph+/-, depending on the road conditions and wind direction. The road speed will be between 17 and 20 mph. Total mileage may vary +/- a few miles depending on daylight and weather conditions.
